The Avain Työelämään ("Key for Careers") project
The Key for Careers project, which focuses on Rauma and Pori municipalities, is a project funded by ESF, to be implemented in 2008-2010. The Key for Careers is a development project, in which development takes place by productising services and by searching for best practices in the customer's work. The clients of the project are the disabled, the job seekers with different abilities, the long-term unemployed and the beneficiaries of rehabilitation support, who are returning to the labour market.
The aims of the project are to:
- develop services and tasks that help reincorporate the job seekers to working life.
- create permanent employment solutions for the disabled, the long-term unemployed and for persons with difficulties being employed.
- look for ways for the beneficiaries of rehabilitation support to return to work.
- develop and organise training, in cooperation with the local economy, for the entrepreneurs, employment administration and the other network partners.
- develop and provide training for the municipalities for them to be able to familiarise the workers that are employed through salary support methods.
